Any paid lobbyist who has made or expects to make more than 2 contacts on behalf of any one principal in any 6-month reporting period (January 1 - June 30 or July 1 - December 31), or whose principal has expended or expects to expend more than $500 in the reporting period, must register with the County Clerk's office.
Qualifying contacts are contacts with county board supervisors (other than one's own supervisor) made privately — other than by the lobbyist's appearance at a public hearing or public meeting. Qualifying contacts may be either oral or in writing.

If you later make more than 2 contacts or learn that your principal will spend more than $500 during this reporting period, you must immediately file this form with the County Clerk, within 10 calendar days after making the 3rd contact or after learning of the increased expenditure by your principal, as appropriate.
Paid lobbyists must report expenses in connection with lobbying activities.
This form must be completed by the lobbyist for each principal (the person, organization, or business hiring the lobbyist) which has spent more than $500 on county lobbying activities during a 6-month reporting period (January 1 - June 30 or July 1 - December 31). it is the duty of the lobbyist to obtain this data from each qualifying principal and to file this form for each principal. The principal must supply information to the lobbyist sufficient to complete this form.
