Dane County Clerk's Office

The Clerk's Office records and reports on all information pertinent to the Government of Dane County, Wisconsin. This includes information on elections, amendments, licenses and permits, staff, and directories.

Current Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM.

Marriage Licenses are processed virtually (via zoom) and by appointment only.  Appointments are available between 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  

Domestic Partnership Declarations are processed in-person and by appointment only. Appointments are available between 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM on Tuesdays and Fridays.
